About Edhra Chronicles

The sky is the youngest thing there is. Beneath it, everything is old. Beneath that, everything is older. And at the bottom, something is waiting that was never young at all.

Edhra Chronicles is a multi-era fantasy universe told through serialized novels — each one a complete story set in a different time and place, all connected by the same world, the same hidden forces, and the same deepening mystery beneath the surface of everything.

The world of Edhra looks normal from above. Sky, stone, water, civilizations rising and falling the way civilizations do. But beneath the familiar surface lies something vast and strange — hidden layers of reality where ancient forces are locked in a conflict so slow that entire civilizations are born and die between its movements. Every era's magic is a symptom of that conflict bleeding through. Every era's heroes are the ones who look down instead of away.

The first series, Tideborn, is live now.

Set on the Shifting Coast — a volatile, Bronze Age coastline where islands appear and vanish, creatures transform, and the ocean has opinions — Tideborn follows a woman hiding an impossible change and the infamous pirate captain who pulls her from the waves. It's enemies-to-lovers. It's swashbuckling adventure. It's a slow-burn romance between a woman who hides everything and a man who fakes everything. And beneath the pirate raids and the stolen glances and the arguments that are secretly flirting, something ancient is watching from below.

She hides what she is. He performs what he isn't. The ocean knows them both.

The Universe

Edhra Chronicles is designed to grow. Each series is standalone — you can start anywhere, read one series or all of them, and have a complete experience. But readers who follow multiple series will see the deeper pattern: the same wound, opened wider across thousands of years. The same forces, misunderstood by every civilization that encounters them. And the same quiet, patient observation from something in the deep.

Coming eras include:

The Bronze Age — Magic is raw, geographic, and terrifying. You go to a sacred site and something answers. (Tideborn — live now)

The Medieval Era — Magic becomes structured and institutional. Branded into the body, regulated by guilds, wielded as power and weapon.

The Renaissance — Magic becomes technology. Extracted, stored, and distributed through engineered systems — until humanity realizes it's been mining a living thing, and the living thing has noticed.

One world. Many eras. The deeper you go, the stranger it gets.

About the Author

Ricky Singh is a product creator who decided to build a world. Tideborn is his first fiction novel — born from a love of deep worldbuilding, hard magic systems, and the kind of romance that makes you forget you're reading on your phone at 2 AM. The Edhra Chronicles is his attempt to build a universe worth getting lost in, one era at a time.

When he's not constructing fictional cosmologies or arguing with his characters about their life choices, he's building products in the real world — which, as it turns out, involves a surprisingly similar amount of worldbuilding for this website.
