Questions

FAQ

Common questions about Edhra Chronicles, subscriptions, reading, and the author.

I

Reading & Access

How the books and subscription work.

Where do I start?

Chapter one of Tidewater. Everything else opens from there — the wiki is optional context, not a prerequisite.

What can I read for free?

The first three chapters of Tidewater, the entire Academy of Records wiki, and the site-wide navigation. No account required to read the free chapters or browse the wiki.

What does paid access unlock?

Every chapter of Tidewater — all hundred — plus deeper entry into the universe as it grows. Future books. One subscription covers everything.

How much does it cost?

$6 per month or $50 per year (SAVE 30% on the annual plan). Cancel anytime from your account page.

Is there a free trial?

Yes — seven days of full access to verify it's what you want before the first charge.

What happens when I cancel?

You lose access to paid chapters at the end of your billing period. You keep the free chapters. No data is lost; re-subscribing restores full access.

II

The World

About Edhra, the setting, and the wiki.

What is Edhra Chronicles?

An original fantasy universe told through novels and a living in-world reference (the Academy of Records). Tidewater is the first major entry. More are planned.

Do I need to read the wiki before the novel?

No. The novel is designed to work standalone. The wiki is for readers who want more context — world, cosmology, factions, history — not a prerequisite.

Does the wiki contain spoilers?

Articles are spoiler-light by default — they describe what exists in the public world of Edhra, not what happens in the novel. Where a subject is inherently revelatory, the Academy flags it.

How often does the wiki update?

New articles are added regularly as the universe is catalogued. Browse the Academy anytime to see the latest.

III

About the Work

Publication, formats, and the author.

Is this serialized weekly?

No. Tidewater is released as a complete book — all hundred chapters available once the book is finalized. No weekly drip. Readers get the whole voyage when it's ready.

Will this be available as ebook or print?

Possibly. Retail editions are under consideration but not yet finalized. Subscribers read the book first either way.

Is AI used in the writing?

The story, prose, and worldbuilding are written by Ricky Singh. AI tools are used for editorial feedback, continuity checks, and technical work on the site — not for generating prose. If that changes, this page will say so.

How can I reach the author?

See the contact page. Responses may take a few days.
